Leaky Fuel Injectors

RE: Leaky Fuel Injectors
Thanks tech. That's sounds easy but a little scary to me (sorry, fuel stuff freaks me out a little I guess!) Can I accomplish the same thing by putting a fuel pressure gauge to the schraeder valve and waiting? I heard if it drops below 29 psi after 20 minutes that I must have a leak somewhere. I guess the problem with that method is that I won't know where the leak is compared to actually looking directly at the injectors like you suggest.
One last question, if I sent the injectors out for a cleaning and flow-test, will that identify if one of the injectors is leaking?
Thanks again!

RE: Leaky Fuel Injectors
That might work but if the Fuel pump is bad it will leak down like that to.
If you have them flow tested and cleaned they should be able to tell you if they are leaking.
But taking them out you will have gas leaking for sure. If you just turn the key on to pressurize the injectors then pull the rail you can see if they leak without disconnecting the Fuel line.
