A leap of faith
Well I wrote a whole story telling guys about my 850 then the computer decides to shut down

Any way here's the summery I stumbled upon a 97 Volvo 850 with 157,000 miles... was not impressed by the looks of it because the owners had it looking filthy but I later found out the husband was a mechanic and did the needed work for his wife who drove it mostly to work and home.
Because of the low price of $1,200 and the great condition of the engine and transmission I eventually decided to take a leap of faith ... I knew it needed a host of other things to be done ... but my original budjet was about $4,000 - $3,000 and I figured I'd make out where I wanna be as far as how much I'd spend.
9 months later... I did a long list of stuff everything from tire rods, control arms, the entire timing belt kit, the other belt, brake system: rotors, brake lines, pads, alignment, new tires etc spent about $2,000 so far and the car is running great.
I can hardly wait to get it repainted and looking sexy again ... but I want to do the important stuff first. I have to get the A/C fixed before these summer temps and thats gonna cost $350 to replace the condensor which has a leak... the A/C works until the juice leaks out
other than that I think one of my rims are bent... they are the original ones and they are all scratched up but I believe they are the cause of the shaking I feel after 70 mph... I've done everything else to ensure a smooth ride which it gives till after 70 mph here are some pictures from the car wash the other evening

Next big job is repairing the entire A/C system so I don't have issues with it down the road... Goal is to get it done by summer by the time I will really need it...gets hot here in Atlanta... Then hopefully I can get it painted over by September ...fingers crossed
