Limits of 850R motor & driveline
I find myself smitten with the 850R. What is the limit that stock engine & driveline can handle and what is the weakest link?
For Saab 9000 Aero turbo, it is the gearbox at well over 300 hp.

Your looking at about the same. Also the weakest link I think would be the automatic transmission. Upgrade to a manual. Unless you found a manual which is very hard.

The Auto tranny is by far the weakest link. Like stated above try to find a Manual tranny. I myself am looking for a Manual car to buy and strip to convert mine.
