Default MAF and turbo control valve question

Just recently had my turbo rebuilt and when I got the car back, it is very sluggish to spool up. I was tinkering around under the hood and noticed that there is a nipple under the MAF and there is a middle nipple on the turbo control valve and neither one of these has a vacuum hose attached. I have tried to find vacuum hose diagrams or information on the web to see if a vacuum hose is supposed to run from the middle opening of the turbo control valve to the nipple under the MAF. I would just attach a hose, but don't want to ruin anything if it isn't supposed to go that way. Can anyone tell me if I am right, or if not, where do these two items get attached? I'm thinking this has something to do with my spool up time. Thanks guys.

Yes, the nipple on the air intake tube should have a hose running to the center nipple on the TCV. That's probably why you arent boosting well.

Thank you. Now I just have to hope there is an automotive store open tomorrow to get some vacuum hose and connect it. Can't wait to run it after putting the hose on and see how much better it is.

Yeah, you're gonna like it once you have that hose there. I forget what size it is - I just replaced all my vacuum lines about 2 weeks ago. That third line that goes back under the turbo is a BITCH to swap.
