Default manual boost gauge

Hi guys, I get most of how to install a manual boost gauge....
except what hose the gauge's hose needs to be spliced into.

Is the line somewhere that goes to the wastegate or to the intake?

Manual boost gauge or manual boost controller?

MBC goes in line between Compressor housing and CBV..

Guage can run off of the line that goes to the cluster gauge

OK, so if I pull out the gauge cluster I will find the vacume line that goes to the stock boost gauge and I can just tap into that?

Would be nice not to have to route a new line into the engine bay.

I have a MBC as well....but that wont get installed for awhile. Need to sort out a few bugs first.

What is the CBV tho? Not a term Im familliar with.

Under the dash is a plastic hose for the boost gauge. There is also a rubber connection somewhere under there. You can get a vacuum T and put it in there then just run to the gauge.

The CBV is basically the stock BOV.
