Default Which Mass Air Flow (MAF) sensor should I buy??

I can get a new Bosch for $164.
I can get a used Bosch for $40.
I can get a new off-brand for $50. (seems to be working OK from reviews on Amazon)

WHICH ONE TO BUY???

I'm thinking about buying a used Bosch and a new off-brand to make sure that one or the other works. I need to have this car working, but EVERYWHERE has to special order it, so I might as well get two of 'em, right??

Lemme know if I'm going about this all wrong.

By the way... OBD2 scanner shows P0103, which is "MAF / VAF Circuit High Input". I have disconnected the sensor, but it still runs about the same. I have cleaned it and it still runs about the same. I have tapped the dust off the air filter and it still runs about the same.

I guess I just have to replace it... but WHICH ONE???

Go for a new Bosch.
Rumour has it that off brand MAFs are rejects from Bosch.

Read this before you replace it:
