Multiple DTCs
So I borrowed a good ODB2 scanner from a friend.
Reset all codes but the ABS, SRS and Check Engine stay on.
Readout of the codes shows the following:
Engine fault 1 of 1
5-4-1 Evap-Valve signal
ABS
4-4-3 Pump motor electrical or mechanical fault
SRS
2-1-2 Drivers airbag open-circuit or capacitance too low.
Awaiting several manuals on the 850 to arrive but would appreciate any input on where to begin correcting the above and if anyone else has experienced similiar problems with their 850.
Researching issues on the Volvo ABS and TRACS seems like this ABS DTC is common across all later models. Some posts point to the sensors and others say the ABS module needs rebuilt. There is little to be found regarding the other two problems.
