Just purchased my 1994 Volvo Turbo 850 wagon. Yes I will need to do some matience work like replacing the PCV stuff and a few other things. My question is? Today I opened my TCM box and only saw 2 out of the 3 electronic boxes present. Looking down facing the windshield, the 3rd control module inside the right of the box is missing. Is this supposed to be this way? Or am I missing a box? Please help quiet my mind ASAP ! Marvin.

 

It's for direct ignition system control module.

 

So is it safe to say, mine is not equipped with that system?

 

Yup, safe to assume you don't have it
