I'm located in lower bucks county, pa - just outside of Philadelphia.

I've got my eye on a 1996 850r wagon that looks like a great deal but I would like a volvo guy to take a look at it for me - before I fork over what little money I've got. It'll be my 3rd wagon, but my first 850. I'm a learn-as-I-go kinda volvo owner, not afraid of taking something on as long as I've got an idea of what I'm getting into.

Also, any suggestions of what to look out for would be great.

Apparently the previous owner took off the volans. It has been sitting a while.

I'm hoping it'll be a fun daily driver that I can eventually swap a manual transmission into. I very much want to get the chip done too. I don't have any Volvo connections here at all, since I'm not from here. Any enthusiasts in the area hit me up.
