Default New fuel pump - still will not start

Ok a week passed and filanlly got my new fuel pump. I bought the one from Super Parts and it assembled into the fuel pump housing fine. I installed it in my car and have verified that it works. I can here it turn on and I have good flow and pressure at the fuel rail (via turning on key and depressing the valve on the rail).

However, my car will still not start. (arrrggg). I have verified that I am getting spark (by use of timing light) and for kicks pulled one plug and sprayed starting fluid. The plug was dry upon inspection. With starting fluid, the engine kicked over for a couple seconds.

The problem seems to be that the fuel is not getting past the injectors. I find it hard to beleive that something else, besides the fuel pump, went bad the the same time. I have checked all the respective fuses and also the codes. The only code I get (as previously posted last week) is IAC value. I also checked this and it appears to be working.

Any thoughts??

It started!!!! After many attempts, and a battery recharge, I finally got the old 850 started. It only took about 1x10^5 cranks. I guess fuel system needed time for the air to work its way out of the fuel system?

Looking forward to another 100K miles...

Sounds Great!

I swear, there is no better feeling than your car reviving after it's been dead.
