Hi,I am having an issue with my 94 turbo wagon.The car has been sitting for a couple of months,but ran fine before.It has a very bad idle and no boost.I have an aftermarket boost guage.It is showing vacuum but stops at 0 boost and cuts out.I have an open air filter so you can hear the bypass valve but I do not hear that.I took off the intake pipe to the turbo and spun it with my hand and it seems to be spinning fine.There is no play in the shaft.Next I removed the heat shield to see if the wastgate shaft came off .But that was fine.I checked all the intake hoses and they are all tight.I have metal intake tubes so they are not getting sucked closed.If anyone has any thoughts it would help alot.

 

How about leaky intercooler? Did you check the pressure right after the turbo going to intercooler?

 

You could till have a bad hose check the one just before the throttle body for holes in it.

 

Thanks for your help.I checked my intercooler piping,and found that the one from the intercooler to the intake had come off .I have a eurosport R.I.P There is a rubber 90 that comes out the bottom of the intercooler and connects to the metal pipe that must have blowen off.
