Default Oil Near spark plugs?

Hey guys, so I spent a few and did a complete tune up, i even did the coil. I did the cap & rotor, bougicord wires, new volvo turbo plugs, going to do the fuel filter, there's new oil in, air filter etc, I put all new goodyear branded vacuum line hoses everywhere and recently had to do my rad, and now recently ran into some more problems, waste gate was stuck closed on my turbo, so i took it into the volvo specialist for it, that, a ball joint, summer inspection, random rattling from parking brake and some labour later had $400 Canadian dropped there, then i got it home and a coolant line to my turbo burst, related i thought so, apparently they never got anywhere near it while working on the turbo..maybe so, but that and a couple a leaky heater hoses later and I've got another $400 dropped for in two days $800 bucks, sound reasonable, i'm used to doing my own work but volvo parts are expensive yes esp genuine but anyone replace their heater hoses before?

But** what i really want to know because i still need to get it done is clean out my oil trap and check the breather hose that goes from the top of the block near the plugs, does anyone know why the leak of this clean oil in accumulating near my plugs and why its pooling there, is it the breather hose from the trap? would a pcv problem cause that, because i changed the oil filler cap gasket, where some leaks were from, but its dripping near my distributor cap..any ideas, I'm including a few pictures for any feedback, thanks!

I had the same problem. I think it's from the PCV system being clogged and that creates pressure the pushes out some oil. At least that's what I got from it, because right as soon as I redid my PCV system and got the new oil cap gasket as well as a new seal for my dip stick to make sure there were no weak spots for air to get it, I haven't had any oil pooling there. But that first picture you have is exactly what mine looked like. I would do the PCV system and make sure you clean the PTC system as well when your doing the PCV.

Try the oil filler cap gasket first. It fixed mine and only cost a few bucks

I edited your pic to show how oil got to my distributor. AND all stopped after new oil filler cap gasket. I know you put new one but could it be faulty?
I think oil from PVC tubes should be dirty not clean. Anyways cleaning PVC and new flame trap will take some pressure away.
Note not expert just Volvo fan trying to help

Took the words from me.

I would just but the whole cap.

You can go to an auto chain store and get a new one for about $8. Looks like an OEM one too, with similar text on it.

wow guys thanks, most feedback i've ever gotten on any questions, i did replace the gasket after the photo was taken, did the PTC, and all new vacuum line hoses, still have to do the oil trap but i have no air coming out or vacuum from the dipstick tube, although smoke does billow out, i will try those suggestions, thanks for all the input, got more to talk about and post later, thanks for the diagram for the dist cap.

All the best guys
