Default Oil smoke question

Question about my son's 850. We have noticed latelythat if he parks the car nose down on a slight slope (about 2% of slope) in the parking lot at work, it will let out a moderate puff of blue smoke on start up.

It only does it when parked nose down, and only after sitting for more than about 5 hours. The rest of the time it starts fine, (no smoke) doesn't burn oil on the highway, and only uses about 1/2 a quart of oil every 5000 miles. What problem(s), if any, might be lurking. Oyh yes, car is a 95 turbo sedan with 190K on it running full synthetic oil on 5000 mile oil change intervals.

Oil is seeping into the combustion chambers. Most likely worn valve guides. When he is parked on the slope oil is overtop of the leaking guide and seeps into the cylinder. When the car is level the oil inside the head drains back into the oil pan faster than it leaks into the cylinder.
No worries, until it happens everytime he parks the car dont worry about it.

I still have yet to see a set of worn guides. You replaced all PCV parts correct?

Actually, the PCV is on the list to do at the next tune up. Never thought about it as a cause of the occasional smoke. Maybe I might want to do it sooner.

If he is parking nose down then the oil could be getting into the PCV system.
Here is a easy test to see if it is the guides or not. Switch to a thicker motor oil. If it still does it then its the PCV system, if not, then its the guides.

If something clogs up or becomes somewhat plugged up it tends to pump a little oil into the intake. Also make sure all vent system hoses are connected.

Is there a way to clean the PVC system? If I pour a can of Seafoam into the tube will it clean the system? Or is it a repair/replace only?

The t-body is down behind the engine next to the turbo. I need to remove the air intake and the intercool tubes.

The throttle body is on the side of the intake manifold up front on the engine.

I followed the air intake tube from the air filter box and it leads to what looks like a t-body. The intercooler tube runs to it also. The only thing on the front of the engine is the injector rail and the intake manifold and it looks like it runs from the back of the engine where I think the t-body is to the front of the engine. I see nothing on the front that looks even remotely like a t-body. But I will look again tommorrow.

Remove the black cover and follow the intercooler hose from bottom of the Radiator to the motor.
