just recently my 850r developed an overheating problem. from a cold start it would take 20 mins roughly to start (edit: overheating).

i took it into my mechanic and he pulled out the thermo and he said it had disintergrated. he replaced it with a new one but still the same problem.

would it be the head gasket, or will it be a cracked head? what price does either run at roughly to fix. keep in mind i'm in australia.
