Default P0172 system too rich right bank 1

I recently bought a 1995 850 and love it. Today it gave me P0172 system too rich bank 1. Seems to be conflicting information out there. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

There are several issues that can cause this code. Start checking all your engine vacuums and intake piping. Unplug your maf and see if your car runs better. Check your front 02 sensor voltage readings.

Generally when you get a bank 1 code start looking on the intake side of the engine first.

Is the car running rough? Or did you just get the code? Mine was for a loose vacuum line near the turbo, top of the TCP valve.

I know this reply is a little late, but I just came across this post while looking for something else. I had this code on 2 volvos within the past few months. In both cases it was a deteriorated vac. elbow on the left front of the engine (looking from the front), below the intake manifold and behind the ps pump. I seem to recall that the mathews volvo site had a post with photos - it might be worth a search if you're still having a problem.
