P1310 CODE AND TRANNY SHIFTING HARD?
My check engine light came on and the reader said it was a maunfacturer specific diagnostic trouble code P1310 as well as some other things ( EGR flow, low voltage on o2 circuit, rapid misfire) Is this P1310 rigt and if so does anyone know what it is? The car is a late 95 850 turbo OBD2. The transmission has been shifting really hard since I got the car as well if anyone has any input it is greatly appreciated. It still has the original plug wires, cap, and rotor and has 123,000 miles on it so I know I need to replace those items.
Im used to Volvo codes so im not to sure about the P code.
I would try the tune up. Also you might want to clean the EGR Valve. If you get the EGR flow code then most likely it is clogged.
Does the arrow on the dash flash at all?

How is the tranny fluid? If ignition parts are original, maybe the fluid has not been ever changed. You can find info on tranny flash at volvospeed.com
ok yesterday I ran seafoam in crankcase and gas since the lights were on and it needed a tuneup. I erased codes and shortly after I got a misfire code for 2 cylinders and rear o2 sensor code. Today I changed the timing belt and spark plugs and reset the codes. The car runs 100% better, the miss is gone. I havent had a light come back yet but i figure the o2 light will be back on unless the misfire could cause it to come on which I doubt. Next up is the cap, rotor, and plugs. Thanks guys.
