Default power for new stereo

hi everyone,
i had a lot of trouble with my original volvo stereo somy sister got me a new kenwood. after installation everything works just finebut it won't keepsettings after turning ignition on or off!
what power wire should i connect it to so it won't loose all settings every single time?

Did you buy the harness adapter?
If not I would have to look at a wiring diagram to tell you.
On the new radio itself I think it will be yellow.

I recon you have the "ign" and "+ve" wires swapped.

when I put my head unit in, the ignition wire was blue i would check that

Yep, you definitely want to connect to a constant 12 volt source, not a switched source.
