Rear Brake and A/C noise
Hi,
Having tightened the adjusting Torx screw in the console as far as I could, I have been unable to create any resistance at the brake lever. In additon, I notice a slight squeak fron one rear wheel, which goes away if I pull the brake lever up and down. Supposing for a minute that the rear shoes require replacement, the rotors don't look that wonderful either, anybody have a ball park idea on the cost of this job? Also, I notice a slight noise when I have the AC on, from under the hood, it is a cylical noise, going on and off. The AC is working and cold at the moment, but is this impending doom, or, for that matter, does it sound like something common I can address? Thanks in advance. |
RE: Rear Brake and A/C noise
Not exactly sure about the price for the brakes.
For the A/C either you are low on freon or you had the blower motor at a low fan speed. It will cycle when low on freon. But it will also cycle if you have the fan speed low to prevent the system from freezing up. |
