Default Rear wing

The rear wing on my 850 decided to detach itself when I shut the trunk.

It was off the car when I got it but I used 3M double side to put it back on.

Whats the best route to reattach this thing cleanly?

Get a mounting kit for it.

+1, you need to get the bolted down to the trunk somehow. Otherwise, it is just going to come off again.

There should be a clip on both sides of the spoiler that goes around the edge of the trunk lid.

+2......See if FCP sells the kit, otherwise you will have to order it from the Stealer

I don't see anything from FCP.

I called Volvo and he said it looks like its just those little hooks on the ends of the wing that hold it on.

Now, There is some original adhesive on the bottoms of the posts.

Other than that I don't see any bolt holes or anything.

Yes you use the adhesive and the clips. Very hard to put on by yourself because you want the two sided tape to hit and stay. You don't want to move it once it hits and then you need to put the clips on the side. So it has to be lined up perfect before setting it down.

Default Spoiler Problems

I ordered the parts from the Volvo dealership 30 minutes away. My wife picked them up for $8 and they were the wrong ones. I had lost the spolier on the highway and had to pull the wire and stick it in the trunk. What a mess. I'm just driving around right now without it until I get the time to go through the process again. Grrr.
