Default removing climate control unit

Okay, I have the elec. unit and I saw on here to remove the radio and push out the unit, I pushed but it didn't seem like it wanted to go. I took the ***** off and there are no screws. Should I just push harder? I don't want to break anything, so I thought I would ask before I get real physical with the control unit. Thanks all.

If this is the automatic climate control unit, then what you need to do is just remove the radio like you did (remember you'll need your radio code if you disconnect any wires to it) and gently start pushing the climate control unit out from the back. It is only held in by metal tension clips. Try one side and then the other. It should pop right out.

Sometimes they are very stubborn.

I suggest to wrap a rag around your arm or it will get cut.
