Default Removing Interior Roof Handles

Was thinking about trying to put in the sunglasses holders that IPD has for the V70... to replace my roof handles (the handle above the driver and passenger side windows)... on my 850.

IPD says the bolt spacing on the holder is 6 inches from center to center on their setup, if it's doable, and the same, I'd love to try it. Seems like a very useful thing on the driver's side at least (when do I use that handle while driving?)

But... how do you remove the handle? Does the plastic just pop off and reveal two bolts maybe?

Any help?

Thanks!!

I believe the end pieces are hinged at the top/center edge.

I like having my handle. I rest my hands in there all the time. When I had a car that did NOT have them, I installed one.
