I was kinda thinking of using a bunch of 2x4's or 2x4's and stacking them up instead of jackstands. From what i remember of the underside of the subframe, was that it's got an upward curl to it, and sometimes shifts when I'm lowering onto my stands. Dunno if long wood braces would be much better.

Do you happen to know if the bolts (for the trans housing or innards) are re-useable, or should i plan on having new ones on hand? I remember the specs saying that new botls should be used for the control arm to subframe?

You can replace the torque converter bolts.
The rest will be fine.

Did you see the before and after pics of my car?
I cleaned it this weekend.

The car going into the shop in a week from today! Getting ready to order all my parts hopefully tonight for the other stuff besides the transmission i'm going to replace. Just got a few questions and wanted to make sure i wasn't missing anything. Here's what i'm thinking of replacing

Transmission
Torque Converter bolts x6
Rear Main Seal - is this the same as "9458178 Rear Crank Seal" ???
RH and LH Driveshaft Seals

LH Driveshaft
LH Wheel Bearing

Water pump
Timing Belt Tensioner (I did the timing belt about 10k miles ago, but haven't done the tensioner yet)
Timing Belt idler pulley (same as above)

Oil Pan Seal

Possibly the engine mounts?? Don't know if they need to be replaced or not.

Anything i'm missing?

Can you think of any special tools i'll need Tech?

Thanks!
