I finally found them both. I had the front bumper from the T-5R and today I got the Wagon Wing!! I am thrilled. Sand and paint tomorrow.

NICE! I also have both sitting in my wagon. I might prep them this winter for paint in the spring. My spoiler needs some repair as it's got a slight crack. What condition is your front spoiler in?

Your wagon is going to look really nice with those on. Any plans for wheels in the future?

The front skin is great other than some scuffs on the side. No damage other than that.

Wheels are coming (your selling them to me) ...:-)

The wing is primed and ready for paint. Unfortunately while prepping the front spoiler I noticed a crack from a curb. It put everything to a hault until it is mended. The spot is repaired and I will resume prep work tomorrow in between Turkey and a movie.

That's looking good. What did you use to fix the crack? I have one too, I was thinking spreading plastic weld on it and then sanding it down.

I used bumper repair from a local Auto Body paint supply store. You want to work it all from the back. Scuff it up a lot from the back. Apply the mend then if you have it finish it off with a plate in the mend. My crack was pretty small. I will send picts tomorrow. I have a lot of road rash I need to get out. Been sanding...a lot.

Crack repair pic

The scratches were so deep I had to skim the skin. Pictures before and after.

Did you make that yourself? Or is it a single pod that you molded onto it?

Its hand made. The main mount is a TomTom GPS windshield mount. The tac fits right in it so I used it. The rest of the form was a paint can cap. Then stretched grill cloth, resin then fiberglass. Removed the cap from the inside and start sanding. Then apply bondo and sand some more. Its primered now. I need to work on the texture before painting.

Are you going to do a write up on the bumper repair?
I need to do mine as well. I want to make sure it is going to hold up first.

The mending material used is not 'Autozone' or 'Kragen' stuff, its the real deal. It is used for repairing bumpers, I expect it to hold.

When I get this done I will see if I can go back and put together a writeup. I am up against winter now. Its getting colder and we are seeing wind and rain. I fear I wont find a calm enough to paint it.

Do you have a garage? Throw up some plastic and make a mini painting booth.

I have a four car garage that not a single car can fit into because of all the crap my wife stores. Sore subject.
