I used bumper repair from a local Auto Body paint supply store. You want to work it all from the back. Scuff it up a lot from the back. Apply the mend then if you have it finish it off with a plate in the mend. My crack was pretty small. I will send picts tomorrow. I have a lot of road rash I need to get out. Been sanding...a lot.

Its hand made. The main mount is a TomTom GPS windshield mount. The tac fits right in it so I used it. The rest of the form was a paint can cap. Then stretched grill cloth, resin then fiberglass. Removed the cap from the inside and start sanding. Then apply bondo and sand some more. Its primered now. I need to work on the texture before painting.

The mending material used is not 'Autozone' or 'Kragen' stuff, its the real deal. It is used for repairing bumpers, I expect it to hold.
When I get this done I will see if I can go back and put together a writeup. I am up against winter now. Its getting colder and we are seeing wind and rain. I fear I wont find a calm enough to paint it.
