Seafoam on engine that currently runs smooth?
Is it worth attempting the Seafoam on my 96 850 NonTurboif it currently runs/idles smoothly? I noticed MOST of the rave reviews come from Turbo owners.
I've been reading through all the great reviews...but I don't want to take a chance at throwing a code due to misfire etc. if there's not really benefit when it idles smooth.

Seafoam isn't a strictly turbo/forced induction thing.
Pretty much everyone's gonna get some type of gain because you're cleaning out the dirty deposits.
The downside to that (and the knock some people put on it) is the fact that this crud could possibly mess up your car or throw a code.
It can't hurt but honestly, it's really your choice.
Most people who use it don't use it because they're experiencing problems and use it as treatment to a problem, they just use it to clean out their system.
