Default Slow start after sitting

Hi guys, I'm having a slight problem with my 1995 850 turbo. I am pretty sure I am losing fuel pressure when it sits which causes me to have to crank it for a bit to get it up and running. I wouldn't say its excessive, like 4 or 5 seconds tops, but its definitely consistant when the car has been sitting for a while. My dad has a fuel pressure gauge at home so I can probably check to see if I am losing pressure while the car is sitting. If this is the case, what do I need to replace. I am thinking fuel pump, fuel filter, and possible fuel pressure regulator but I wasn't really sure. Also wondering if these are all easy DIY. Please let me know if this diagnosis is correct or if I should try something else before I replace anything.

Yes first check for fuel pressure loss. They are all DIY stuff. Some a little harder that others.

If you lose fuel pressure look at the injectors first. Try to remove the fuel rail without disconnecting the fuel line. Leave it sit after turning the key on only. See if one of them are leaking anywhere.
The fuel pressure regulator would be the next thing I would look at. See which one you have. Some have a vaccum line to them some don't. You can pull the vaccum line. If there is fuel there it is bad.

Then if you get that far with no problems I would say fuel pump. It isn't all that bad. If you get that far then I will post the instructions.

It might be a while because I am at college right now and I have to go home and do it on a weekend with my dad's tools. I'll get back to this page whenever I get the chance to fix it. Thanks tech
