snap ring on CV joint shaft
I'm replacing the passenger side outer CV boot. I have the axle out of transmission in my vise. I'm spreading the ring and tapping on the CV joint but it does not move.
How hard do I have to hit it to see some movement. The snap ring moves freely in the groove.
Any advice or tip will be greatly appreciated.
