Default Someting Wrong With My Cooling System?!?!

Well I took my car for a drive today and when I got home, I turn of the engine. While I was still inside the car I heard a gurgling sound where where the front passenger dash was and slowly moving towards the center. So I decided to check under the hood. Turns out the coolant expansion tank was gurgling. Level was pass max. and could hear the gurgling of coolant from the engine to the tank. Seems to be mixture of air and coolant, not sure, tank was blurry. It did had some (not coolant?) but water around the cap. Some from previous had leaked over and dried up pink??? I had replace the cap couple months ago in hope to stop the leak, but it didn't. Then I think maybe the tank needed to be replace?? Could there be too much pressure in there?? Something clogged?? Only happened the second time including this. Often times like last week I drove it, everything was normal, no sounds, no pass the max. mark, or anything?!?! Had the radiator replaced 3 yrs ago. Also when this happened, the coolant turned a dark evil green :[

P.S. Now that it cooled down you could hear a hiss from the cap area. New expansion tank I'm guessing it needs?? Also the temp gauge is always normal under these conditions.
