Question Steering Wheel Adapter

Ok I own a 97 non turbo 850 and i want to switch out my steering wheel for a nice grant rally wheel. I dont want to buy the wheel and have it not fit so im wondering if i have to buy an adapter for the grant wheel and where can i find 1 if its out there. Thanks.

not sure where to get one for the 850s.
check out volvospeed to see what they are using.

FYI.... the air bag is a safety feature. removing it for a race wheel is not the best move, unless you install a race harness to hold you in place if you are ever in an accident.

I couldn't agree more. I'm not a fan of when people remove modern steering wheels for "racing wheels." For one, they don't flow right with the car, and two, its not safe.

Sure, you drive a Volvo. One hit with a Norfolk Southern and you probably would total the train. But still....

Ok ill try there. and im not concerned with the air bag. its gonna b a racecar. already got the roll bars welded in and racing harness and momo racing seat in so thats not my concern. thanks

But he said it's not a turbo. I don't get it. Did you like swap engines or something? Or is it going to be some sort of rally car?
