Default sunvisor

My drivers side sunvisor will not stay up, so I took it removed it from the car to try and fix it, well I cut the wires that went to the vanity light (it didnt work anyway), do I need to reconnect those wires or are they fine taped up?

They are fine tapped up.
When you cut them I bet you blew the interior lights fuse.
