Default Temp sensor and stalling

had stalling trouble with my 93 850.when the loose temp sensor wires were wiggled the car would stall.the wires came completely out of the temp sensor.I taped them up for now(new one on order)and now seam to be running fine Any one else ever hear of this happening?

It the car cannot get a good signal from the temp sensor, it will not run.

If you plan to keep the car for over 2 years, an aftermarket sensor will do. However, if you intend to keep it longer, the additional cost for an OEM is well worth it.
