Hello All,

Been awhile since I have posted anything but I am getting ready to have my engine swap done in my 1995 850 / Turbo. Long story short, oil cooler line blew off on the highway, lost all oil and seized my old engine and turbo. Found another 1996 850 Turbo with a bad rear tranny gear,but other than that runs and drives for $500 and am going to pull the engine/turbo out of it as well as any other replacement parts I want from it.

What things would you recommend having replaced or at a very minimum looked at while the engine is out?

I was thinking seals, timing belt water pump etc, PCV system (Especially since the replacement motor was blowing a sweet smelling blueish white smoke, but nothing terrible), I know the oil trap is clogged so obviously that, anything else since the engine will be out?

I have been searching the forum and haven't found a good list yet so I figure I would just ask.

Also, if you are look for parts let me know as I will have a whole parts car when this is all said and done. (Darkblue/green ext // tan interior) And obviously, minus engine and turbo, however there was another transmission included when I bought the car. Can't speak to the condition of it other than PO said it came from a working car but if you wanna see anything I can get you pictures.
