Default Throttle Position Sensor

Does anyone know if the throttle position sensor should be leaking or full of oil? I took it off to see if I could clean the contacts and oil is flowing out of it.

No it should not have any oil at all in it .

Check the Vent box and all the vaccum lines.

Thanks for the info! I'll check it now. I assume it should be linear with no dead spots in between?

Checked out fine!

A little background... "94" 850, 5sd non turbo. 130K miles I've had the car about 2 months and I'm slowly going through stuff that looks neglected/broken. But, since day one the car has seemed a little weak at partial throttle. There seems to be point at about 3/4-7/8 throttle, above about 2k rpm where something seems to "kick" in and it runs much stronger. It's almost like it's gained a cylinder. It dosen't run rough before this point, it's just much stronger once this point is reached. I was suspecting dirty contacts on the throttle position potentiometer. It seems like the power should be a little more linear.

Things I've fixed/checked so far...
1) Air cleaner - NEVER seen one so dirty
2) O2 sensor with broken connection (black wire)
3) Flame trap completely plugged - new one installed
4) Plugs, cap, rotor
5) Idle Control valve - checked and it's not stuck, but don't know if working correctly
6) Throttle position sensor - drained oil from it, check resistance - ok

Check Engine faults reset...
1) O2 sensor
2) Mass Air Flow Sensor

Maybe this is just the way these cars run? Any ideas on what else to look for are greatly appreciated!

That is pretty much how the N/A cars are. The power band is a little higher.
