Default Time for shocks

Need shocks for the wagon and starting up front. Bilstein tc or Sachs, I have Sachs oem in the sedan and like the ride and price. Whats different about the Bilstein tc compared to the Sachs? I'm on a budget so if anyone has anything they're looking to liquidate, every little bit helps.

I think the sachs ride rough in my wagon.

It's apples/oranges I know, but my BMW has bilsteins and it has the best, sporty ride of any car I've ever ridden in. I'd also like to hear anyones opinion who has installed Bilsteins on a 850.
