Have you tried to mock them up on the spindles yet and see if they will turn in front? |

I need tires before i can actualy put them on and let the car down. i had the car jacked up the other day to take the fluid line off the rack and pinnion. so i decided to stick one on. the only way they would fit with the tires that are curently is for it to be jacked. There is alos about an inch and a half wheel spacers on it.

You can try this site:
Online Wheel & Tyre Fitment calculator. Offset and Tyre Stretch RSPI posted this a while back: The 215/45/17 do rub a little at lock. Heck, if things are not perfect on my 205/45/17's they rub a little. |
Those look like they stick out 2 inches past the fender. Why would you have such large adapters on those wheels? What are the offsets/bolt pattern on them? I don't get it.
|
The bolt pattern for the rims are 5x114.3 and the stock bolt pattern as you know is 5x108. The spacers where giving to me for free and i only payed 50 for the rims. The car only has steelies on it and one is bent to hell from the last owner, so i figured i would try and put those rims on. i priced tires today and there $179 a peice for 205 45 17 cooper zeons. i thinking they may rub sticking out that far
