TME remap
Has anyone heard of a TME remap? I was reading a European blog about Volvos and someone mentioned this. They said that this company was the supplier to IPD and the chips were similar except TME was better. And where can I get one? Went to their website and all I can find is more modern Volvo stuff, and not for my 97 850R wagon.
Thanks,
Chet

1. IPD USA is the U.S. supplier of the TME tunes.
2. You send your ECU to IPD USA and they will tune it and send it back to you.
3. A remap is when someone already has a ECU upgrade done and wants to get it remapped because they upgraded their turbo, intercooler, injectors, intake, downpipe, exhaust, etc...
4. http://www.ipdusa.com/Volvo-850/Perf...p-72-143-2183/
Right there are the tunes for the 850 models thru IPD USA.
"(850 R 1996-97) (628) (240/275) (236/280) (12/14.5) (7.0/6.2) (86629) ($695.00)"
So they do have a tune for your car. If you were expecting a tune for sedan and a tune for wagon there isn't one an R is an R.

Got it! thanks guys
I was under the impression that the TME reprogramming was better but if you guys ay it is the same then I believe you.
I am going to do a little more looking around but I like the IPD setup, even though it is expensive.
Thanks,
Chet
