Oh yeah, black on silver I think looks good, and the black on black. On any other color 850 I think the gray looks better.

Haha, I've thought about it actually. I thought about doing the roof trim yellow since it's peeling, but I think that the couple little punches of yellow I have look better than if I did a lot of it.

That would be my first choice for sure. Either that or I want a white R wagon, or a red wagon, or black wagon, or a yellow sedan, or a red sedan, or white sedan, or black sedan.

We did the trim on my sons black 850 with KIWI shoe dye. Easy to apply and does a good job. The bumpers we did with black bumper paint. Cleaned them off, taped off the areas around the bumper and sprayed them black.

Also painted the grill gloss black, tinted the windows, added a spoiler, painted the calipers red.

Black on orange is WAY better than grey on orange

When my bumpers were gray, trim was black, and car was orange it looked TERRIBLE.

Here is what you are going to do: Paint the trim black, buy the mesh grille (and sell me the one you have now), angle eye head lights, and do a two tone mat black with gloss highlights paint job (per this: http://forums.turbobricks.com/showthread.php?t=176049 ) because its ****ing sweet.

Haha, yeah, I might have glanced at that post once or twice, or maybe ten times. Nah, I love this car, but I'm done spending money on it, my attention is now focused on saving money for an R wagon or a V70 T5

Ja, that car is the goal for my wagon... it will be a very very long and expensive road but by damned it will be achieved! Only I don't think I'm going to tint the windows and I'm still unsure about the paint, I really like the fact that my car doesn't draw attention from the police... unlike my old beat up Acura which would get me a police escort through every community between my house and work (some wealthy neighbourhoods).

Haha. Yeah. I just like that fact that whatever I get, either an R or V70 (1998), I can basically transfer everything from my 850 to that. Which will save some money. And I want to do the same. I want it to look nice, but at the same time, I want people to be like, HA, nice wagon, and then I go really fast. Keep it sleeper style.

Unless you have the money to go all out on a real performance car (no bolt-ons) like a BMW up to a Lamborghini, the only way to go is sleeper style.

Yeah, your right, I just meant that I don't want it to be super flashy or anything.

I understand, I was agreeing with you. The last thing I would want to drive would be a Honda Civic with 20" wheels, a body kit, metal spoiler, aftermarket tail lights, exhaust tip,.... you get the point. BTW already saw one today. Here in the STL they are too common.

Right. When I went out to DC to visit my uncle, there are so many of those things out there it was gross. We got a lot of Acura Integras here (ew) with those gross tail lights and everything you mentioned, and probably a rusted out old engine.

Yeah, it would, I'm saving that for the wagon though.

Perhaps do both? If you get it done at the same time you might be able to barter into a savings. Tint does wonders for these cars, espically with a black interior.

If I still have both cars when that time comes.
