Default Trunk Shocks

Hi.... I am looking at replacing the gase shocks on a 1995 850 Volvo. I haven't looked real close but I was wondering how the shocks mounted to the frame on the car. Do I have to take apart the trunk covering to get to them or do they pop off.

Thanks Dale

Default RE: Trunk Shocks

The front of the shocks snap into the body.It is easier to pull the cushion from inside by the back seat the one closest to the window.Pull the top straight out then lift up.
The back has a clip that holds it on.

Tip when you buy the new shocks ask for one for a car with a Spoiler. They are heavier and last longer.
