Default Turbine housing leak?

I noticed a small leak from underneath the v band clamp on the turbo that holds the exhaust turbine housing to the cartridge. Have I not tightened it enough or could there be something wrong? I really cranked on the clamp when I put it back together after the rebuild. Is there a certain direction the factory clamps have to go?

Yes, the turbo was rebuilt and it's loving the new lease on life with the exception of the small leak. I pegged 14 and hit cutoff last night and had to turn down the boost controller. My only issue is the leak and it's not great for spool time. I ran the turbo through miles and miles of low stress driving before really getting into it. I stopped to check everything and blipped the throttle under the hood to noticed a little bit of exhaust coming through the v band.

Okay, update on this situation. I tightened the clamp as much as I could and it solved both the rattling heat shield and the leak. I also tightened the wastegate about 9 turns and now it snaps right up. I will be replacing this turbo once I pay off my debt on the fuel pump I bought due to a crack in the wastegate port. It didn't appear to be a major issue yet and it's a small crack so I will run it until it pops or I replace it. You guys were right about the fuel cutoff, it is literally a brick wall. I wasn't expecting it when it dropped on me and I lost my hat to the visor.
