Are you sure you are turning it the right way?

You unscrew it to drop the boost. The tighter you make it the more boost you give it.

Just as long as you are using91 octane or higher (higher octane = ability to runhigher boost), anddont hear any ping or your knock senor isnt going off, you should be fine.

If you want to play it safe, then just lossen it all the way, so it will not be in use. The turbo has a wastegate actuator so it will be at its stock level (~8psi)

On the hood unless it was replaced on a white sticker is the diagram to hook it back up to OEM.

Also maybe someone has it hooked up wrong.

Make sure the hose coming off the compressor goes to the in on the MBC then the out goes to the waste gate.

The hoses should have a color on it and the valve should have colored dots on it.
If you cannot see that I will try to look at my diagram then tell you where they need to be.

My valve is not connected but I will be able to tell you how they go.

Sounded like a junky MBC.

Get a chip or ECU upgrade if you want to raise the boost.
