Default Turbo/Exhaust

Hi, is there any way to convert a conical flange to either an angled or straight? Don't really wanna put a whole new turbo in..

You can swap just the exhaust housing. But I don't know of any way to convert it. Had a conical on my 95, replaced the housing on mine.

You would need to take it off the car to be safe. It's likely you might want to just purchase a used one at the salvage yard but it's also a great time to take it apart and rebuild it.

Rspi was kind enough to help me out and grabbed one on one of his many parts hunting trips. More Volvos in his area.

PM him, maybe he'll do it again.

I think the prized one is a 960 NA with a "clean" throttle plate. There are people who have just ground down the plastic and others who have removed it completely and then brazed the holes closed.
