Default Update on my car

Just had the windows re-tinted and some Columba wheel put on. And a new headunit, amp and sub installed.

very nice - hope you used some sound deadening back there....the way the hatch rattles over bumps can be bad enough!

I have to work on the tailgate rattle, it is really bad on this car. Apart from that the only thing that rattles from the sub is the plstic bump strips outside the car. I need to put some foam under them to quieten them down.

My car already had the rear hatch metal bracket mod. That speaker look very big. The car looks real good.

I have done the replacement brackets, clips, tailgate repair kit thingy, it didnt change a thing. So I am gonna take it off and go for a drive to see if it is something internal causing the banging.

Might be one of the rods for the opening/locking mechanism. The insert at the end could be excessively worn and allowing the rod to twist and hit against the bracing.
