So 6 weeks later....i still didnt have the driveshaft out and was planning on pulling the motor and trans and taking the transmission off to take to a shop to get the driveshaft out. For those of you who didnt read about this saga, its somewhere in the forum.

Anyway, a guy in my calculus class suggested I call a friend of his who just opened a shop...it turns out that I know the guy and used to ride motorcycles with him back when I had a Hayabusa. ANyway, to make a long story short, I flat towed the car to him on saturday evening. He called me today to let me know that the old axle was out, the new axle was in with the new seal, he had checked the torque on ALL the new front end parts I put on, found my oil leak, found my coolant leak, and he also replaced a taillight bulb that was out in the back for me, and flushed my transmission.

To do all this work for me, he charged me **drumroll** $85. Yes, I said $85. Granted, I brought him all the parts and fluid, but stil, thats a HELL of a good price for that work.

Now, being that he did all this extra stuff for me and saved me a TON of time and energy, I feel a little obligated to give him a shoutout. The contact info, if you live in the northern indiana area:

I would UNDOUBTEDLY let this guy work on anything I own - he's very thorough, does great work, and, as you can see, is VERY reasonable on price. If you need some work done, give him a call. You wont be dissapointed.
