Default vacuum booster

Does anyone know if I should hear a pretty good vac leak at the vac booster where the master cylinder connects. I don't recall ever hearing a leak this big on any other car I've ever owned.

Do you hear it inside the car or outside the car?

Really loud outside the car, using a hose to my ear I traced it to the underside of the master cylinder where it bolts to the vac boost. It looks like there is a small indendation that's supposed to be there, that's why I was wondering if I should here it. I can also hear it very fasintly inside the car.
