I'm not sure where you are and if it is available in your area but there is a product called Seafoam that has proven to be very effective in cleaning up carbon deposits on the valves when it is sucked through the intake system. Slowly slurp in 1/3 of a can, turn off the engine for 5 minutes, and then restart the engine towitness one of themost amazing smoke clouds you will ever see.
The power brake booster runs off of intake manifold vacuum and, lacking any other place (like on my daughter's Porsche 944), the Seafoam canbe sucked into the intake manifold through a power brake booster line. The Volvo's have a vacuum tree just behind the throttle body which makes it much easier to introduce the product than removing the brake booster vacuum line.
I hope that makes more sense now.

Hello Bestharry,
Hey now, someone else from Ontario. Cool
And now TWO [sm=smiley10.gif][sm=smiley10.gif]
Im in Renfrew, ON, just outside of Ottawa.
And theres a Napa about 300yds from my house. Ill check it outafter work tomorrow and see if they have some and Ill grab a photo and post it.
Is this product for use on any car?
What kind of improvments do you honestly get?
I have a replacement engine in The Anvil, about 200klm on it and put inlast Christmas (ouch), and Im cruious about this product as I have read a few posts about it and thought that it was only available in the States.
I now have, as of today 318,456klm, on the clock.

Seaform... I belong to 4-5 forums.... Yamaha motorcycle Venture, porsche Boxster, GMC typhoon and Chevy 1 ton dulleys, wave runner. Sea form has been around for about 40 years and I use it in everything.... John Deer riding morers, chain saws, gas generators...eveything that uses gas. You can add to gas for winter storage... my boats & wave runner. BUT you MUST run the engine for a while to get the Seaform into the fuel system.
You can also add some to the car before an oil change. Add about 4 ozs, run for 5 min. and the drain.
I get mine by the gallon from a Farm and feed store, saves about the cost of a can ($45.00 a gallon)
You have to remember the once you burn that tank of gas so is the Seaform.
