My car sounds like it is miss firing so we changed the spark plugs.. well that didnt help. i was told I had a burnt valve in the engine. it is throwing a lot of codes

A1 114
A2 121
A3 213, 214, 141, 142
A7 122, 132

can some one please help me
now it wants to keep cutting off while drinving and in idle.

 

Those are symptoms of burnt valves, has a compression test been done?

 

Do you know what the codes stand for or do you need help looking them up ??

had problem with a ignition coil ground wires...if it were me i would chec out ignition coils ground wires, and timing ,plus watch out for bad wires and corroded connection your baby has had a long life at 290,000

 

Auto parts stores like Oreilly, autozone, pepboys have loaner tools. You can get a compression gauge to use for free (buy it, use it, return it for refund). You need to make sure you're getting a loaner tool and not a new one off the floor. They don't take the new tools back once used.

How to:
Compression would be the first thing to check because if it is a valve the cylinder head will have to come off.
