Hello All,

i'm trying to find what about is this light . I tried deleting many times with the diagnostic tool but i could not and couldn't find any information about this light. Can someone help about what is it and why does this warning light appear or how we can remove this dashboard's light. Its very annoying.

I've been trying to sort this light out for weeks it's supposed to be the lombard light but on my 850 it's also the camshaft censor light so I would suggest it's a multitude of electronic censors fitted to engine after fitting new lombard light still on so next stop camshaft censor light now out so if you can't get codes read you can be a long while sorting it also on you front grill where the volvo tag is is it on a black or blue background if it's black like mine good luck in finding somewhere to read the codes as most places now don't go back further than 2000 antsue

 

lombard light? Lamba refers to the emissions feedback loop from the front oxygen sensor back to the ECU. So you probably have an issue with an intake air leak/vaccuum line, exhaust leak or the sensor itself. What year is the 850 and is it an NA or turbo?

 

It's n/a and a 1996 auto I've replaced lamba sensor no difference found a old volvo dealer who could actually read the codes and it's saying the camshaft possioning sensor is bad so have got a replacement from bosch have checked all hoses and idle is steady at about 950 so would it not hunt or tick over erratic if air leak help is very useful to sort foe mot ps that was the only code stored thanks antsue

 

this has now been sorted was camshaft sensor past mot no problem. Also built my self a code reader so next time I might have a clue
