Hi. I have a 96 850 2.4L non turbo, with a damaged oil pan. My dad has a 2002 v70 2.4L turbo. The v70 is headed for the junkyard however the oil pan is still in good condition. Is there any chance the v70 oil pan would be compatible with the 850? Thank you in advance.

 

The v70 will have fittings for an oil cooler that bolts to the back of the pan - as long as that cooler is there you won't have a leak and don't necessarily need to run coolant lines to it. The 850 uses a spin on filter, the v70 a cartridge -

Other than that - it might fit. Hey take it off before it leaves and try it! You will need orings and the proper sealant.
