Replaced the starter on my Volvo 850 Sunday and put together this video. It takes about an hour if you know what you're doing. Make sure you test it before you replace it because I replaced mine for nothing. My positive battery cable was corroded at the connection.

 

I've been there, done that before. Not on this car, but on others.

Sometimes, it seems we convince ourselves a problem is larger than it really is, because we were so sure it wasn't something smaller, and we didn't want to 'waste' 10 minutes to check that out.
