Volvo CD changer
On the back of my Volvo premium sound system there's a din jack for a CD changer. I can't find one anywhere! Since the CD player isn't working I was hoping to find one. I have the sc-816. Does anyone know where I can get the CD changer? Saw one on eBay but the plug doesn't match.
I had an 85 recently with a changer in it working. They were blaupunkt I think. Anyway, you'd have to get one out of a junk car. mine was still working, so it's not impossible. I don't know if you can just hook one up to the head unit and presto, but it's worth a try.
Mine had appletalk cable, ha ha.

Check Crutchfields to see if they sell a part - otherwise eBay/Amazon or recycle yards. My suggestion is to 1) forget the changer and either buy a replacement head unit with a working CD (make sure you get the code and color - they came in black and gray) - last check they can be found for $100 or less. 2) buy a Grom adaptor that plugs into the CD changer port and get blue tooth or a line in so you can use your phone as your music source.
