Default well i am back

Well my mpg is back up from 20 to 27 28 now that it it is warm so... o well. But something else has come up. It seems too chug and lose power at random times. Sometimes it wont go over 55 or takes forever to get there. It starts fine, runs fine, and revs fine but put it in gear and blahhhhh. Oh its a 93 850 5spd I will elaborate more later on as my time on this computer is limited. thanks a lot.

I'd check fuel pressure, vacuum leaks, and pcv.

Ohh on an odd note it has the tendency to use a little oil. Maybe a quart or less per month

PCV is "positive crankcase ventilation" and you can read about it through doing a search here. I think I would start with simple things like checking your fuel pressure, then going from there.

Do you have any codes for check engine?

Yes i have bee snooping and found a little bit out. yes i do have some codes but i will have to get them again. on an odd note.... The car was sitting for the last 2 days and i went and moved it and it ran fine. It wound right up perfectly no power loss or chugging. I ran it up to 4 or 5 grand and shifted. It loved it and all was well...... then i let it set for 10 mins or so and then left with it. after a little bit (1 or 2 miles) Back to the same ol thing so grrrr!! Well in the next few days i will do as you have told me and see what i come up with. Thanks for your help IAP
